Meet Stu: I was raised in the Redding area with an older brother and younger sister. After graduating from Shasta High School in 1995 I followed my high school sweetheart to Sac State in 1996 where we both graduated in 1999. I raced against some of the best professional cyclists in the world throughout college fulfilling a life-long dream of competing at the elite level. After receiving my degree in Small Group Communications from Sac State Jen and I were married July 3, 1999. We served together in Youth Ministries around Redding for 7 years and ran our family owned restaurant, Upper Crust Pizza. We have four beautiful children and find joy in visiting the train museums and vacationing as a family. Upon God’s leading we have now moved back to the Sacramento area as I serve on staff as Pastor of High School Ministries, calling a generation of High School students to live a life that would give joy and glory to God and make disciples who make disciples.

Stu’s most profound Christian experience: At a youth camp many years ago at Alliance Redwoods God called me to give my life to full-time ministry. Since that time I have, with great failure at times and soaring victory at others, pursued God’s call to make disciples.
