Patty Herrera
Director of Children's Ministries

Patty Herrera

Meet Patty: I was a former teacher of the deaf. I am fluent in American Sign Language and love to interpret for the deaf. I was a program specialist for San Bernardino County Schools and taught graduate classes for special education teachers at Cal State, San Bernardino. I have worked as a director of children’s ministry for the past 15 years. I have been married for 26 years to my great husband, Steve, and I have a 19 year old son named Nathan.

My favorite thing to do is speak to children about Jesus Christ.

Patty's most profound Christian experience: I prayed to receive Christ while walking in a grape vineyard in Mendota, California. I was 17 years old and had finished teaching VBS to children of migrant workers. You might say that I was my first convert.
