“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and
of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you
always, to the very end of the age.”
—Matthew 28:18-20

TRANSITIONAL HOUSING

We have a program to help single moms and families who are struggling with homelessness or are at risk of losing their housing. Our goal is to provide housing assistance, spiritual encouragement, mentoring, and sometimes job training or coaching. All funds for the ministry are provided by Men of the Foothills Men’s Ministry, and their annual fundraising efforts.

HOLIDAY OUTREACH

Adopting a family for Christmas is an amazing opportunity to provide gifts for families who may not have the means to provide any themselves. Once we are notified of a family in need we can get them an application to fill out their information and then pass it along to a Home Fellowship group or family. This process can be confidential if necessary. If you could use a little extra help this Christmas or know someone who does, or if you would like to adopt a family, please contact Pastor Dillon.

HUMAN TRAFFICKING

Human trafficking is a huge and growing problem here in the United States, with a large amount of activity occurring here in the Sacramento area. We have partnered with Courage Worldwide in order to help fight this horrible crime. Courage Worldwide is an local organization that helps rescue girls (they have a strong partnership with the FBI), provides a home for them (called Courage House), and provides education and programs to help them restore their lives.

GLOBAL OUTREACH

…and unto all nations…

SPAIN

We have developed a partnership with Alliance workers living in Tres Cantos, Spain. The Westegrens put on several events designed to create and develop relationships with the families in the community. Events like Thanksgiving dinner, Valentines Day dinner, English Camp, and youth groups are all ways that the Westegrens are serving the families of Tres Cantos. We have sent teams to work at the English Camp for three summers now and look forward to sending more teams in the future.

MEXICALI

South of the border is also a thrust for the CPD in that it is a great way to “get your feet wet” in missions and relatively inexpensive. Over the past few years we have been developing a Ministry Base just over the border. We are now extending invitations for senior pastors, youth pastors and church missions leaders/teams to come and see what is happening there. We believe this Base will provide a great opportunity for people of all ages to experience doing missions in a place that is safe, inexpensive and not too far from home. (Picture below is of the Ministry Base)
