Purpose and Approach

The purpose of the Men of the Foothills Ministries aligns with the Church of the Foothills mission to:

• Win non-believing men to Jesus Christ with the good news of salvation
• Build up each believer, regardless of where he is in his walk of faith, with information and tools to strengthen his walk of faith
• Equip each man for active participation and servant leadership in families, small groups, church and ministry
• Send men to serve by providing regular opportunities and encouragement to practice servant leadership

By the grace of God and the power of the Spirit, we will fulfill these objectives through regular activities for men (such as sports teams, bible studies, discussion groups and men’s breakfasts) and special events (such as men’s retreat, Promise Keeper Conferences, and adventure outings).  We also believe in reflecting the joy that is ours through Christ by having some fun.  Our approach is to be inclusive, lift up these goals in prayer, assist men in testifying to the saving power of Jesus Christ, and provide opportunities for believers to grow, develop and participate in the Lord’s work.
